What Coverage Improvement You Can Expect
Homes, due to their construction can create a barrier to the transmission of cell signal, or may already be located in an area with a weaker signal. Spotwave's Z1900 overcomes this barrier and can take a relatively weak outdoor signal of 2 bars or more (-100dBm) then boost and retransmit it inside the home at a full 4-5 bars on your cell phone (-85 to -80dBm).
Our Z1900 is rated to provide signal improvement to up to 2,500 sq ft in a typical wood frame home or small office environment. The coverage area could be greater in a more open environment such as a small one floor office cube farm or smaller in a more densely walled environment. Since every home is different we recommend placing the coverage unit in areas where signal improvement is needed most. Signal may diminish somewhat as it passes through walls and floors.
When wall-to-wall 5 bar coverage blanketing of a home is required, multiple systems, or 2500Xe system may be needed - however most of our customers are happy with the signal performance improvement using just one Z1900.
Easy Set-Up
The Z1900 cell phone signal booster is easy to set-up. The system is designed to work entirely indoors but for users who may require outdoor signal strength – the Network Access unit can be mounted outdoors (to gain an even better signal from the nearby cell tower).

In order for the Z1900 cell phone signal booster to function properly you will need the following:
- Your service provider must operate their voice services in the 1900MHz band
- There should be at least 2 bars of signal where the Network Access will be mounted (-85dBm)
- If there is a requirement to install the NAU outside, you may need landlord permission to access the roof or an outside structure
